Bordet vs Claude

Claude is the model many of us reach for first. Bordet does not replace it. It gives Claude colleagues, a shared memory of your project, and a seat for the Claude subscription you already pay for.

Anthropic's Claude in September 2026 is a full workspace. Projects hold your files and instructions, Cowork runs multi-step jobs and reports progress, and since 16 September chat, Cowork and Artifacts live in one interface. Claude Fable 5.1 and Opus 5 are as good as any model in the world at careful, long work. If you want one collaborator to delegate to, this is it.

What Claude cannot do is disagree with itself in a way you would trust. Every second opinion inside Claude is Claude. Its memory is Claude's memory: your Project knows your files, but GPT and Gemini never will, and neither will your co-founder unless you paste. And when Cowork finishes a job, what was decided along the way lives in a transcript, not in a record you can point to next month.

Bordet keeps Claude and adds the rest. Claude Fable 5.1 sits at the table with GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.1 Pro and Grok 4.6, each with a role, reading and challenging each other's replies. The room holds one memory that every model and every person reads: a board, a decisions log, sources cited by name, and deliverables kept with versions. And your own claude.ai subscription can join as a seat: your subscription does the thinking, the table remembers.

Pick Claude if

  • · You want one deeply capable collaborator to hand long jobs to and check in on.
  • · You trust Anthropic's models and do not need another lab's view.
  • · You work alone, in one account, and a transcript is record enough.

Pick Bordet if

  • ✓ You want Claude's work stress-tested by GPT, Gemini and Grok before you act on it.
  • ✓ You want a memory of the project that every model and every teammate reads.
  • ✓ You want decisions, sources and deliverables kept on the record across weeks.
  • ✓ You already pay for Claude and want that subscription to sit at the table instead of paying twice.

Questions

Can my Claude subscription do the thinking in Bordet?+

Yes. Add Bordet as a connector in claude.ai and your Claude takes a seat in the room: it reads what it is allowed to see, is addressed like any member, and posts back. Claude Code and Cursor connect through MCP and can take work from the room and report what they did. Seats have scopes, spend caps and one-click revoke.

Isn't Cowork already a team?+

Cowork is one model working through steps for you, which is excellent when the plan is right. Bordet is for the part before and around that: getting the plan argued over by models that do not share Claude's blind spots, and keeping the outcome where everyone can find it. Many Bordet users run both: decide at the table, execute in Cowork or Claude Code.

Do I lose Claude's quality by using it through Bordet?+

No. Bordet calls the same Claude Fable 5.1 and Opus 5 through the API, with the room's memory, sources and the other members' replies in context. Each member is given room to answer in full.

What does Bordet not do that Claude does?+

Bordet does not run a long autonomous job on your computer the way Cowork does, and it does not write your final verdict for you: the members argue and you decide, with the board and decisions log holding the outcome. If you want one model to just go and do it, use Claude.
